Recently I offered a Free Teleclass on Reference Point Therapy (RPT) and Venus Retrograde. No, I'm not an astrologer, my friend Carolyn Goldman takes care of that department. I've been interested in astrology since the late 70's. For me it's always been an indicator of where the universe is trying to get my attention. So when I heard from Carolyn that Venus was going retrograde (to find out more, register here and I'll send you a link for the free teleclass) I felt it was an excellent way to focus on relationships and where we are with relationships in our lives.
I invited my facebook friends, and one commented that "I was a hoot." Which I intrepret to mean that he had no idea why I was offering this or that he thought it was a whimsical thing to do. And maybe it is.
And maybe, its just another way to focus on our growth in the moment. For me, growing myself personally and spiritually is of utmost value. And, while on one hand, I feel I'm perfect, right here, right now, I also know that there's some room for growth as well. (Understatement, do you think?) So this astrological occurrence that brings my focus to relationships -- first with myself, then with others -- interested me. How could I use it as a way to see where I needed to put attention on my own growth.
I'm just self-centered enough to think that what interests me, may interest some of you, which is why I'm writing about this. So here's the questions I'm asking myself.
On a 0 to 10 scale, where would you put your loving of yourself?
0=none, nada, not at all, nothing, self-loathing, hate
10=totally in love with myself, I'm a delicious, magnificient being (or whatever over the top adjectivdes you want to include -- you don't have to use mine.
Why is this my first questions?
Because all of our outer relationships begin here, love begins at home. Home is within us. If we hate, judge, criticize, condemn, feel ashamed or guilty within, then the universe will mirror that for us in our outer relationships. What does that look like? How many mirrors are there at the fun-house? At the height of my own internal criticism I found myself in relationships where others were critical of what I was doing, and often I embodied their critical voices in my own head. No, I rarely have that or do that these days. I'm grateful to RPT for that.
If the criticism starts, then I use it to notice where there's still a gap in my loving of myself. Reference Point Therapy allows me to easily find these spots and release them at the point of origin (which is often before I was born). We really are a sum total of all the inputs into our biology -- which you know is quite a lot if you've ever looked into your family tree. RPT allows us to clear and release these numerous inherited inputs as well as the energetic occurrances that have contributed to the negative patterns in our life. Check out my Declare Your Freedom Package.
This is just one way I'm using Venus Retrograde to focus my attention on my own growth. I'll be writing about more ways. In the meantime, if you want to hear the recording click here.
If you know you want to work on your own relationships, I'm offering a three session Venus Retrograde package for $297.00 (offer good thru Nov. 18, or when I sell 10 which will probably be a lot sooner). You usually have to buy 5 sessions in order to get this price per session. If you want to take advantage of this special, go here.
Want to learn how to do RPT on yourself? I'll be teaching a class in Claremont, CA with Sharon Snowiss on October 24, 25. To sign up for the level 1 class go here. NOTE: Early bird price of $350.00 is available through Monday.
