Awakening is all around me. It's been a rainy time in our Southern California winter and now the sun shines bright and warm. With it comes the sprouting of many surprises -- for example I have "volunteer" lettuces in almost every bed in my garden, and arugula and mustard greens as well. Dandelion greens and their brilliant yellow sun blossoms abound. Apple and cherry trees full with the flowering that announces the birth of new fruit, scent the air. Bees are buzzin and doing their pollen thing. I looked into my backyard and was surprised at the life (bugs, bees, butterflies) could be seen alive and vital in the morning air.
What is already present is awakening, allowing the seeds to spring from the Earth, grow and blossom into the fullness of each potential. We, too, started as a seed, a follicle really. Our existence began as a tiny little cell that would eventually become an egg and the largest type of cell in the human body. Out of over 2 million eggs anywhere from 1 to X (usually 2 or 3, but sometimes 10 or 12 or more) actually joined with a sperm and made it through an often harrowing adventure to become you, me and our siblings.
That journey has the power to affect who we are and how we react or respond to all the twists and turns, bumps and potholes, and surprise roadblocks of life. Have you ever wondered about all this. If so, listen to the audio in the left hand column or call me, I'd love to tell you more about it.
The amazing thing is that we can allow the energetic occurrences of our pre-birth existence, and the traumas of our birth to dissolve and lift away from who we are, thus allowing more of the magnificient multicolored flower of our potential to emerge.
